2009 NYC Marathon Pics

Here are some pics I took at the 2009 NYC Marathon. They were all shot on 44th Street and 5th Avenue in Sunset Park with my Canon t1i and my 50mm f/1.8 lens. While the weather kind of stunk, it was the day after Halloween and a lot of people were running in costume!

To the left is a guy running as the Eiffel Tower. He must be one tough cookie because that thing had to be heavy and awkward to carry.

This guy decided to run as Forrest Gump. Weird - I didn't get the joke until I saw it at home.

Yes! Ivan Drago - this was one of the best costumes I saw at the race. Focus is far from perfect - but with a $90 lens, you have to expect some misses.
